    I have been blessed to experience many wonderful years in education, serving thousands of students and families in 5 different and unique districts. The experiences are obviously varied, and they include incredible celebrations that will last a lifetime as well as some very difficult moments and decisions that, in a different way, will also last a lifetime.

    I’ve been through many incredible graduating classes, but I’ve also sat in on some amazingly difficult parent meetings where the information being discussed is nothing that anyone wants to discuss. I’ve had relationships with students that carry on today, and some where the students would just as soon not see me again.

    I’ve coached some really good players and people, but – sadly – also cut some players and had to tell them they couldn’t put on a uniform. There’s enough substance in this time period to comfortably see a story, hear a quote, or experience a situation and fully understand its significance. The goal of the blog is to take moments that are experienced and to share them with anyone who is interested in listening.
